4xD BETA — VST3

Four-band distortion VST3. Close all DAWs before installing or updating, then
restart/rescan. Your existing DAW projects and parameter identities remain
compatible.

Edge editing: drag, arrows, double-click and numeric Enter keep adjacent edges
at least half an octave apart. Only the edited edge moves. Presets, sessions
and host automation retain their saved values. If a legacy crossed state leaves
no valid interval, that edge stays unchanged; select a factory preset or edit
an outer edge to obtain a valid interval. Limits are 25 Hz to the lower of
22.05 kHz and Nyquist. Changing sample rate does not retune saved values.

Undo/redo (new in 0.3.0): the Undo and Redo buttons beside the preset menu
reverse edits made in the 4xD window. Each drag, click, reset, typed value or
preset choice is one step; quick repeated nudges of one control combine. With
a 4xD control focused, Cmd+Z / Shift+Cmd+Z (macOS) or Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y
(Windows) also work unless the DAW uses those keys. Up to 100 steps; history
is not saved with the project and host automation is not recorded.

Band bypass (new in 0.3.0): each band's Bypass switch passes that band clean,
without Drive or the distortion curve; its Level and the Output gain still
apply. Switching is smoothed over 10 ms and can be automated. With every band
bypassed the result is close to, not identical to, the dry input; use
Wet / Dry 0% for the dry signal. Earlier projects open with all bands active.

Test playback, edge controls, band bypass and undo/redo, automate parameters,
save/reopen projects, change sample rate and buffer size, and check host
bypass in Bitwig, Live or Cubase.
Report OS, CPU, DAW version, 4xD version, sample rate, buffer size, preset and
reproduction steps. Avoid sending private project/audio files unnecessarily.
